Welcome to Lincoln Square Park

The Heartbeat of Oakland Chinatown

Join us in building a 21st century center for the next generation

A park for all of us

With a rich heritage centered in Oakland Chinatown and an open door ethos, Lincoln Square Park is uniquely positioned to serve the multi-generational, multi-cultural residents, students, and families.

A center for joy

The constant buzz of activity at this park makes it one of the most exuberant centers in the city. Ballroom dancing seniors swirl next to table tennis twosomes while toddlers command the iconic junk boat, amidst hoops and swoops on the basketball and volleyball courts. The energy is constant and contagious.

Generations of memories

A home away from home, a safe haven for exploration and empowerment. Its fertile grounds have sown physical health, as well as mental and emotional well-being for generations. Ask anyone from 8 to 88 what their favorite memories are of Lincoln Square Park and you'll get the same answer, 'There are so many!'.

A celebration of culture

Rooted in its Chinatown culture and rich with its heritage, the center is a welcome place of belonging. The staff fosters an inclusive environment with programming that intentionally promotes cross-cultural and multi-generational engagement - always centering around community.
