There’s something for everyone at
Lincoln Square Park
A joyful haven for the community
Lincoln Square Park is a public park managed by the City of Oakland’s Parks, Recreation and Youth Development department. It is located next to the award-winning Lincoln Elementary School. In addition to the Recreation Center, the park includes the Wa Sung Community Play Area with the iconic Junk Boat, a tot-lot, three basketball courts (renovated by Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors), a large artificial turf field, two backboards, 4-square courts and an outdoor gym.
A true community park
With a rich heritage centered in Chinatown and an open door ethos, this family-friendly park is uniquely positioned to serve the multi-generational, multi-cultural residents, students, and visitors to Oakland. The dedicated park staff have developed a network of program partners, making it one of the busiest parks in Oakland. The most distinguishing feature is the iconic junk boat play structure first constructed in 1969.
