Meet our growing team!

It’s been one year since the announcement of our 8.5 million dollar grant award from the State of California, and Friends of Lincoln Square Park and the City of Oakland have made great progress on our new recreation and community resiliency center.

Karen Dea and Tiffany Eng of Friends of Lincoln Square Park recently took a big step forward by stepping into the role of campaign committee co-chairs. They also brought three new team members on board to help our steering committee with the next phase of our exciting capital campaign. Together, this team will support the City in bringing our community-driven vision to life.

Sarah Graves will be coordinating our marketing and communications, Grant Din will be leading fund development activities and Carissa Goodwin will assist with administrative support.

Gilbert Gong, Director of Lincoln Recreation Center, will continue to be our primary liaison to the park and the City of Oakland’s Parks, Recreation & Youth Development department.
