In an emergency, self-reliance is key. Are you ready? 

Come get trained! We welcome folks of all ages who are ready to learn more about emergency preparedness. In this workshop you will learn how to: 

  • Identify and anticipate hazards

  • Better support yourself, your family and your neighborhood 

  • Apply basic lifesaving skills

  • Access community emergency information 

  • Make your home and workplace safer

Location: Lincoln Rec Center = 250 10th Street, Oakland

  • Wednesday, May 7 9:00am – 12:00pm

  • Wednesday, May 14 5:00-8:00pm

  • Wednesday, May 21 1:00-4:00 pm

Friends of Lincoln Square Park is a volunteer-based community group supporting the City’s efforts to build a larger recreation and community resiliency center to better meet the needs of the community. We invite the public to learn more and get involved in this once-in-a-generation campaign!
