Even a Pandemic cannot stop Lincoln Rec Center!

Enrollment, though not demand, for student programming at Lincoln Recreation Center declined during the pandemic. Summer 2021 was fully enrolled with one of the highest camper counts in the City of Oakland.

Summer Attendees:

• 2021/Emerging from Covid: 46 enrolled with 20 on the waiting list

• 2020/Height of Covid: 40 enrolled with 15 on the waiting list

• 2019/Pre-Covid: 65 enrolled with 15 on the waiting list
  
  Can you imagine how wonderful it would be to be able to serve two to three times this number of elementary school children during the summer, after school and during school holidays? And to hire many more teens and young adults to be their counselors, mentors and tutors?
