Friends of Lincoln Square Park honored by Assemblymember Mia Bonta

On Friday, October 27, 2023, Friends of Lincoln Square Park was honored by Assemblymember Mia Bonta as the Community Advocate of the Year at the 2nd annual Assembly District 18 awards celebration.

The awards recognize the outstanding work across the Oakland, Alameda, and Emeryville communities. This year’s event was hosted by Mayor Bauters and Vice Mayor Welch at the Emeryville Center of Community Life. Recipients were selected for their leadership and efforts to improve the well-being of the communities in which they serve.
